Delicious Time waster

Good but you should have made the window bigger.

Turning the tables is a neat idea

I would opt for a less clunky interface though. Like assinging keys to on screen forces so that you arent franticly clicking every where.

An idea for a sequel would be to have diferent types of fighter like ones that fire lazers as well. And to make it EVEN HARDER, you can give the computer powerups. that level could be called EVIL

On a final note... Ever wonder why the military would use something that they know they defeat with conventional weapons? isint the idea supposed to be that it is unstoppable?

Boy...Alot of you still aren't getting it.

It took me the better part of two hours but I figured it out! :)

(Quick walkthrough [scroll down to avoid])
Candle 1 = tree house
Candle 2 = empty house
Candle 3 = north grave yard (directly N of where you start/ scare the guy paying respects away)

To help the sad ghost, first find her eyes in a fountian ouside the left wall of the library. (it is one screen left of the library ghost's window.)
next talk to the library ghost, and then check the sad ghost to see if she has moved a screen south. if she has, look at her, and note that she will accept her eyes. give them to her. now hat she can see, she will be happy...-ish. She says the somthing is missing. hopfully, you scared the boys away from the girl by the car, but if you haven't(though, if you got this far you had to have cheated, but any way) do so now and retreave the bunny the girl drops. show this to the sad ghost and she will remember who she is.

Hospital ghost: Find the drunk west of the police station. Talk to the library ghost, then talk to the hospital ghost again. The drunk should now have a can next to him. take it and give it to the hospital ghost. he will remember who he is and how he died.

The Fire Ghost: this is the one you are really going to help. go to the area with the hazard tape in the background (hard to miss if you've scared enough people) and enter the area with the tape. you are now inside the burned house. on the floor there should be a picture. take it and show it to the fire ghost. she will remember who she was, and that there was something about her husband that was evil, but draws a blank on the rest.

To light the candles: this one had me stumped, untill it occured to me that when ever the Fire ghost is in the church...the candelabras...get lit. ;) you do the math. (I seriously had a "DUH!" moment when that hit me, so don't feel bad :p)

Candel placement locations: One on the cross by the recyleing bin, one on top of the swingset (click the red spot), and the last one goes on top of the hospital. (it's that square bump on the roof). if you did it right, the portal will open and you will get the first Password.

That should put everyone on the right track ;)

***END WALKTHROUGH***

I simply enjoyed this submission. It was enthraling and deep. The Author made one care about the caracters and realy feel for thier plight. I was compelled to help these people seek peace and redemption, and thus find it myself.

The music was nicely appropriate and gave a haunting feel that fit the game perfectly, though, i must addmit, it became repetitave. If the author were to change the music for the diferent buildings, Silence for the library, Children chanting for the school screens for instance, the over all feel would have been PERFECT.

Artisticaly the animation was very good. sometines simple is best, and the wiry, high energy lines were just right to depict ethereial beings. the no frills backgrounds were exquisitley done and lent a lonleyness and vacancy to the game the just realy hit it out of the ball park for me.

The story is hollywood material, and definetly ranks with some of the best PROFESSIONAL point and click mystery games of the early nities.

There is no humor here. the game is dark and seirious, though a few simple contrasting elements were thrown in so that it wasn't a total overload of dreary. (I.E. the bunny)

Overall the game gives you a good feiling and sense of accomplishment when you realy help the ghosts out. A sequal would be most welcome. I'm almost reminded of the Crow by this in some ways.

Wow, it's great that you post so much feedback. Should you have any more ideas, do feel free to email them. I'm particularly flattered anyone would write up a walkthrough... and spend so much time on it. It's all very incredible to me that the game has hit so high; made all that time worth it. Thanks again for your support.

Another example of "good concept, poor execution"

A nice selection of rock songs would be nice to listen to.

The thing with the infinet lives bug DEFENETLY need to get fixed.

This was good. A neat idea for a simmilar game would use the smoke effect that you have but use different colors and you could make a sky writing game. (you could have levels where you get money and buy better planes, etc)

SOUNDS! it is too silent! Good for work, but bad for at home.

But this is a beta. Fix that stuff and you'll be golden :)

Really good game...

With poor execution. :(

By the way, every one, it doesn't matter what you choose, I played it agan to see what the other choices would yeild, and I just got the same story again. LAME.

At least it was good the first time :)

you get a 4 from me sir! (but make more story options, seriously. :| )

Heh. This should be on the front page.

I think there was a game like this before where you had to prevent little blobs from going toward the center of the screen...

oh well. It is sweet :) Nice job.

Very good!

This needs a more developed combo system. I beat the boss, and just so every body knows, you have to hit him from behind or kick him when he's down. Speacial + Attack works too. This is a bit like SoulBlade in that you included a weapons/speacial meter. Nice touch. :)

good job overall. It would be nice if you found the time to finish it. :D

Nice Zelda Clone

This realy is top quality, I mean it. Bravo to you. my only complaint is that the character dosent move as fast as should. Perhaps a run key? I couldent find the sword so I dont know if you have an speed enhancement items. :P
Just a touch (and do I mean just a teinsy bit) more polish, and this will/would have REALLY shine(ed)!
