Giving that an 8 was BIZARE.

Because this game BLEW. Lets break it down:
Graphics: Smooth, well defined
Sound: Clear and unannoying
Style: Look's Cool, Executed well
Violence: Stuff gets killed and or blown up
Interactivity: Interface was intuitve, and responded well
Humor: (well it wasent really SUPPOSED to be funny)

Overall average: 8

Ok, the things that DON'T get Graded are where you failed here. the game was A: too easy, And B: too short. I stood in one spot and annialated the smilies. It was fast paced, and while that is good, it was an annoyance. lots of stuff was going on all at once and it got really busy on screen. Slow it down and ease off on the missiles. make the smileis harder to kill, by making them have hit points, and by mixing up the different types so that you will have to get through one type to get to another.

Vote=4 (but fix this stuff and re-release it, it was otherwise a good flash)

Thank you, but you should have taken my advice and not clicked like crazy, and lowered the quality level. You wouldn't be saying so if you did.

WOW.

This is some fucked up shite.

AntiClockClock responds:

Glad you liked it!

Good work. not great. but over all a good flash. I would reccoment only graphical enhancements. It's pretty solid as is.

Well...our Asian counterparts lost the idea on how it should look and they all got SARS except for this little girl, Tyuugyyhty Nygerrn. She wound up with most artwork, I think she did alright considering her parents were ran over by a truck pulling fish.

Boy...Alot of you still aren't getting it.

It took me the better part of two hours but I figured it out! :)

(Quick walkthrough [scroll down to avoid])
Candle 1 = tree house
Candle 2 = empty house
Candle 3 = north grave yard (directly N of where you start/ scare the guy paying respects away)

To help the sad ghost, first find her eyes in a fountian ouside the left wall of the library. (it is one screen left of the library ghost's window.)
next talk to the library ghost, and then check the sad ghost to see if she has moved a screen south. if she has, look at her, and note that she will accept her eyes. give them to her. now hat she can see, she will be happy...-ish. She says the somthing is missing. hopfully, you scared the boys away from the girl by the car, but if you haven't(though, if you got this far you had to have cheated, but any way) do so now and retreave the bunny the girl drops. show this to the sad ghost and she will remember who she is.

Hospital ghost: Find the drunk west of the police station. Talk to the library ghost, then talk to the hospital ghost again. The drunk should now have a can next to him. take it and give it to the hospital ghost. he will remember who he is and how he died.

The Fire Ghost: this is the one you are really going to help. go to the area with the hazard tape in the background (hard to miss if you've scared enough people) and enter the area with the tape. you are now inside the burned house. on the floor there should be a picture. take it and show it to the fire ghost. she will remember who she was, and that there was something about her husband that was evil, but draws a blank on the rest.

To light the candles: this one had me stumped, untill it occured to me that when ever the Fire ghost is in the church...the candelabras...get lit. ;) you do the math. (I seriously had a "DUH!" moment when that hit me, so don't feel bad :p)

Candel placement locations: One on the cross by the recyleing bin, one on top of the swingset (click the red spot), and the last one goes on top of the hospital. (it's that square bump on the roof). if you did it right, the portal will open and you will get the first Password.

That should put everyone on the right track ;)

***END WALKTHROUGH***

I simply enjoyed this submission. It was enthraling and deep. The Author made one care about the caracters and realy feel for thier plight. I was compelled to help these people seek peace and redemption, and thus find it myself.

The music was nicely appropriate and gave a haunting feel that fit the game perfectly, though, i must addmit, it became repetitave. If the author were to change the music for the diferent buildings, Silence for the library, Children chanting for the school screens for instance, the over all feel would have been PERFECT.

Artisticaly the animation was very good. sometines simple is best, and the wiry, high energy lines were just right to depict ethereial beings. the no frills backgrounds were exquisitley done and lent a lonleyness and vacancy to the game the just realy hit it out of the ball park for me.

The story is hollywood material, and definetly ranks with some of the best PROFESSIONAL point and click mystery games of the early nities.

There is no humor here. the game is dark and seirious, though a few simple contrasting elements were thrown in so that it wasn't a total overload of dreary. (I.E. the bunny)

Overall the game gives you a good feiling and sense of accomplishment when you realy help the ghosts out. A sequal would be most welcome. I'm almost reminded of the Crow by this in some ways.

Retshark responds:

Wow, it's great that you post so much feedback. Should you have any more ideas, do feel free to email them. I'm particularly flattered anyone would write up a walkthrough... and spend so much time on it. It's all very incredible to me that the game has hit so high; made all that time worth it. Thanks again for your support.
